One PC.
Every screen you own.
WDX turns your Android phone or tablet into a second screen, a webcam, a microphone and speakers for your Windows PC — over USB, Wi-Fi or Wi-Fi Direct.
A real second screen.
WDX installs its own display driver, so Windows sees your tablet as a genuine monitor — not a video of your desktop.
Drag anything across.
Windows, the taskbar, full-screen apps and games move over the same way they would to any monitor.
Sharp at native resolution.
WDX runs at your tablet's own resolution and refresh rate, so text stays crisp instead of stretched.
Measured, not guessed.
WDX reads the physical size of every screen and lines them up the way they sit on your desk.
Pixel layouts jump.
When two screens have different pixel densities, the cursor leaps up or down as it crosses the edge.
WDX goes straight.
Arranged in millimetres, the cursor moves from a 27″ monitor to an 11″ tablet at exactly the same height.
Turn it. Windows turns too.
Hold the tablet upright and the virtual display switches to portrait on its own.
Extend or mirror.
Use it as an extra screen, or show exactly what is on your main display — one tap to switch.
Your phone is the webcam.
WDX adds a real camera to Windows 11. Pick “WDX” in your meeting or streaming app.
Pick the lens. Frame the shot.
Switch between wide, main and tele, then zoom and frame from your PC. Focus and exposure follow your framing.
Record on both sides.
Keep a full-quality recording on the PC, on the phone, or on both.
Your PC's sound, on the tablet.
Send Windows audio to the tablet's speakers, or to the headphones plugged into it.
Your phone, as the PC's mic.
Talk into your phone and Windows hears a clear microphone, with background noise filtered out.
Plug in.
Over a USB cable WDX gets its lowest latency, with a ping under 2 ms.
Or go wireless.
On the same Wi-Fi, your PC and tablet find each other and connect in seconds. Ping under 10 ms.
Then it gets faster.
In the background WDX sets up Wi-Fi Direct — a private link with no router — and moves the stream over without interrupting the picture. Your phone stays on its Wi-Fi. Ping under 7 ms.
Close to a cable. Without the cable.
Measured on our test setup; latency filmed with a 240 fps camera. Your results depend on your PC, device and network.
Private by design.
Your screen, camera and voice stay between your own devices.

Is WDX free?
Yes — every feature is free during the beta. We'll announce pricing before the beta ends.
How much delay is there?
Typically 20–50 ms end-to-end compared with a monitor plugged into the same PC — close enough to feel native for desktop work, browsing and video. For fast competitive games a wired monitor is still best.
Does my screen go over the internet?
No. Video, camera and audio go straight between your devices over the cable or your local network, encrypted. There is no WDX cloud in the middle.
Which Android devices work?
Phones and tablets on Android 8.0 or newer. Tablets with a high-refresh screen give the best experience.
What does my PC need?
Windows 10 or 11 (64-bit) with an NVIDIA, AMD or Intel graphics card that can encode video. The virtual webcam needs Windows 11.
Mac or iPhone?
Not yet. WDX supports Windows + Android for now.
